Hi everybody from the deep south in the good ol' US of A! I've been lurking around for quite some time and have finally decided to go ahead and join up. I love to crochet and have been "hooking" for as long as I can remember. I suppose my Grandmother taught me because she is also an avid crocheter.

 

I've just recently discovered that there are more yarns out there than the acrylics at Wal-Mart - Wool, Alpaca, Silk, etc - and so many really nifty yarn catalogs that I can have mailed to me!!:drool Gotta work on increasing that yarn budget though.

 

I'm looking forward to meeting many more crocheting pals. :hi

Welcome to Crochetville Julie! Yarn shopping is indeed addicting....I am still trying to figure out how I will be able to ship my yarn stash back to the US when I move back later this year.....it shall be interesting!!
