A sweater for a CAR?

Have you seen the recent newsletter from lion brand? An art group knitted a sweater for a VW beetle! Sheez and i thought some of us were obssessed! Cracks me up!

I saw about it somewhere it was for the Art Car parade. I gotta give them credit there's no way in heck I'd try to make one for my big truck:eek But if hubby sees this he may ask me to make one for his Harley, lot's of black & orange yarn:2eek

Yep that's where I saw the darn thing.

I thought that too , but I'm not one of those people who takes pics of their cars and has names for them. Maybe they'll frog it and use the yarn for charity

I thought it was quite unusual.

 

Y'all read the pattern? It called for pink hair (not required), 95 balls of LB yarn, and mentioned an 18-wheeler poncho and a couple other way-out things. Problem is, I couldn't find pics for those!
