Three hats

I recently found out that one of my aunties has a particularly nasty form of cancer, and as a result of her chemo, she's going to lose her hair. I decided to do two things: make her some hats, and cut off my hair in a show of solidarity. :)

They're all made from this pattern (minus the 12th row because I kept losing a stitch when I did it and it was plenty long without it).

The blue one is made of Paton's Katrina and is very stretchy (which is why it's smaller than the others). The purple and pink one is made from Bernat's Cottontots and the four-petal flower is removeable. The white one is made from mercerized cotton sportweight yarn (from which I have long since lost the label :) ).

I love this pattern. It takes me all of 45 minutes to make and it looks totally different depending on what yarn you use. Now that my hair's short, I plan on making a few for me, too! :D
