I was just checking my email, and lo and behold my knitting daily newsletter informs me that the famous babbette blanket is now avainable online as a pdf.

I have no intention of getting this pattern as i have far too many projects on the go at present, but have seen so many threads about this blanket i feel it is my crochetting duty to post the link

That seems awfully expensive for an old pattern and one that is really just granny squares.

How expensive is that magazine if they want $6.oo for one pattern that was in it?

Well, I suppose they are capitalizing on the lazy people like me, who just want it. No matter what it costs. To me, it's worth it because I have been wanting this pattern. Also, I think the book was like $11 w/o shipping, soooooo $6 is o.k. by me. That's the only pattern I wanted out of it anyways.

I so agree with you. There are some patterns, and this is one of them, that I just can't see the need to buy. A close look at the picture should be quite enough.
