Look what I made...now what can I do with it?

So I got this idea of doing a mesh intermeshed with another mesh and made this...

 

but I don't know what it could be used for. Maybe a washcloth or something? It's still a pretty loose mesh. I think it's pretty neat though.

Put an edging all the way around catching both of the colors and use it as a coaster. I love the idea you came up with very cool!

Ohhh I like that idea...maybe a third color that complements the other 2.

A coaster would be a good idea. It's about the right size. I'm open to other ideas using the stitch also, not just what to do with this particular swatch. I guess it would make an interesting light blanky!

It would be a cute little bun snood with the edges gathered with cord elastic.

That is a VERY cool idea! Looks to me like it could be a coaster, washcloth or dishcloth, placemat......is it too loose to make a lined bag out of?

Yeah, the bag might work, or even unlined for a market bag. I'm wondering about ways to work the mesh to make it tighter, maybe add another layer of mesh in another color or work it with 2 dc then ch 1 space. I'll have to play around with it.

If you use cotton yarn, you can make two and then crochet them together for a potholder.

My first thought was "THAT is the coolest thing!" My second thought was that all the ideas were cute, but my favorite would be purlwise's; a summer tank would be sooo pretty! I'm seeing blue and white for some reason...hehe
