Annies' does it again - vest

The POTD is a lacy vest done in the love knot stitch. The new trend is supposed to be for vests so get this one while it's hot!

I happened to be up WAY to late tonight - Darski, I'm so glad you posted this! I was a little worried because yesterday's pattern was another one from 1997 - but the vest today makes two patterns from 2007 already this week !! Woo Hoo !! Way to go, Annie's !!

Ooh I would love this if it had sleeves. I am sure I could figure out how to add them. I don't do vests or bare arms, but I love the shape and design.

I love this pattern, I just don't have a clue how to do a love knot let alone a double love knot

 

Guess it will be good practice for me.

I think I have the Crochet! magazine it's in.

I'm glad they're having new (either kind lol) patterns, too. Although I'm not a vest lover either. This one is kind of passible without sleeves as it's not in the traditional sense of a vest.

Oh that's lovely. It's a definite keeper, although I will be adding sleeves to mine. I think it would look wonderful as a cardigan.

That's what I thought too. I've tried a loveknot but couldn't get the hang of it. This pattern makes me want to try it again.

I saved it.

 

However, I still need to lose a few pounds to fit into a 2X. I wonder how easy it would be to convert into a 3X or 4X?
