Felted Pillow!

Hey everyone, this is one of my first attempts at felting (other than swatches) ... I made a pillow! I didn't follow a pattern, just did two matching sides of single crochet in stripes, then stuffed and sewed them together!

 

 

 

 

Next time I will felt more, I think ... I can still see the stitches in this and I love the look where you don't see any stitches!

 

oh ... the yarn was Cascade 220 I believe ...

I found with Cascade 220, it took 2-3 times in the washer before the piece looked right......

Yuppers! Exactly what she said. Usually 2, 15 min. spins through the washer for Cascade 220.

i havent tried felting yet, (not on purpose anyways.....) but i am impressed by those that can do it! thats a sharp looking pillow!
