crochet pattern central

Recommended Posts

I have been trying to get into CPC for several weeks now and can't get in. I was wondering if any one else has had this problem or is it just me. The server here (Yuma) is so slow that I sometimes give up waiting for pages to open.. maybe i need more patience?

I've been having trouble for months with no firewalls. I can get in through a direct link to a pattern from a messageboard, but not through the main page.

Oh no. I go there all the time looking for links. No problems here. Just tried it again to double check before I responded. I have hi-speed dsl though, so maybe the server is a problem...not my area of expertise, that's for sure. If you can't get in there, this site has TONS of patterns as well. I think it's a bit harder to navigate...but if you can get this one to load, at least you would have some options...

Where's the website Carovan?? I don't think I have ever gone there.

On the main page of this board, scroll down to the section called Library. Under that is a section called Web Sites. Click on that.

Or even eaiser, scroll up to disneypal's post and click on her link. It'll take you to the thread.

:)

Maryann,

I had been having the same problem. I finally retyped the website address into the address bar in my browser and finally got in. When I try to access it from the bookmarked link I had or just from a browser search, it doesn't work. I have to manually type it in each time. Hope this helps ;)

Check this thread for more if yours still doesn't work. It doesn't seem to be working from everywhere, just some places. (though I can't check my own til I'm home after work!)

There are some suggestions there to work-around this in the meantime. See posts #56 and #62

I am there!! I guess you have to delete your cache every once in a while..(who knew??)

I explained to my brother about not being able to acsess CPC and I usually go there at least twice a day, and he suggested cleaning out the "cache" and it worked.. if you go to the same website alot and then they change it or something..blah blah blah.. lol I dont care how it worked, as long as it did....

No matter which method I try, I still can't access it. Maybe if I delete some temporary internet files, clear out some cookies, stand on one foot, turn three times and howl at the moon.:bang

I hope I don't upset you when I say I giggled after reading the above. :)

You really should be able to access it via IP: http://200.62.22.148

(try the http:// in front of it instead of just the number)

Oh, Rachel! you are my new best friend!!:manyheart It worked and I'm in!!!:clap

Yay! I forgot that you might need the http:// to make it work. (I use Firefox and I didn't need it, but it was pointed out to me that others might. Sorry about that!)
