I think it's great! Never would have thought to use variegated thread for a doily, but it came out lovely.

That is really very pretty in the variegated thread. I think we just never know how that colored thread will turn out. Sometimes I fret that it obscures the pattern, and like this case it makes a very interesting and beautiful piece. I love it.
