1st Scarf Attempt

I made this scarf with the 1.00 Ping Pong yarn I got at Dollar Tree. (Pattern was on the wrapper) I think I'll go get the red yarn and make one for the holidays

Wow, your first scarf and it looks nice, was a yarn bargain *and* it sparkles? You have a winner there! Waaaay better start than the scarves some of us started off with

Each skein is 1.75 oz and it takes five of them to make the scarf.

How pretty Lisa and well done.Red will be lovley I am also on my 1st attempt at a scarf I am makeign the spiral scarf.

 

I chose to use two colours of yarn together to make it nice and cosy extra thick.

 

Made a hat with flower for myself so using these two colours to match the hat.

 

Also thought would make a floweer to put on both ends of the scarf.

 

I also give a wee xmas gift to my hairdresser so thought in croching her a nice scarf .

 

Mabe a different pattern from the spiral for her a nice sparcly colour.

 

Looking for a nice quick and easy pattern.

Just foinished my first attept scarf today ,weekend ,my hat.

 

You can aslo now see on second photo have started another project fell in with this wool made a start as soon as I got home a scarf for my hairdressers christmas.

 

Another friend has asked me to make her a pink scarf but a narrow but long shiny sparkle yarn.

 

Does anyone have apattern for a narrow scarf or tell me how many chains or rows to do to give a narrow scarf.
