Baby Blue Blanket

Recommended Posts

*EDIT 2-23-07!*

I just realized that I never said what hook size.. well.. now I'm not even totally sure because it's been about a year, but I do know for sure that it was either G or H.. either should work out just fine :)

Really sorry guys! :)

Ch 175 loosely (blue or whatever middle color you choose)

Row 1 (right side): Sc in second ch from hook, * ch 1, skip next ch, sc in next ch: repeat from * across

Row 2: Ch 1, turn: sc in first sc and in first ch-1 sp, (ch 1, sc in next ch-1 sp) across to last sc, sc in last sc.

Row 3: Ch 1, turn: sc in first sc, ch 1, (sc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1) across to last 2 sc, sc in last sc

Repeat rows 2 and 3 for pattern

There are 101 rows, that makes the blue part of the blanket 31X28

At the end of row 101, sc 3 times in the corner (in the same stitch - in blue) and evenly place sc down each side, finish off.

(White)

Join in the middle of one of your 3 sc corners, do 3 dc in same st. Sc in next st. *3 Dc in next st, 1 Sc in next: all the way around. (this part seems to take FOREVER! lol)

After that you're done :)
