TShell~

I spent almost an hour on this one yesterday, using Anna's from her server, and when that didn't work, trying to host it on my own server, changing the names in her example to what I actually needed. Eventually, I ended up with it on my own server, but I had to "view source" and find the code on someone else's blog to figure out what was wrong. In my case, it was an extra "percentbar.swf?" in the path, although I still haven't figured out how that happened...

Update~While writing this I went back to Anna's page to look at her code closer, and I think the problem is the pnavy address she has listed, it doesn't seem that she's using that addy anymore.

Try downloading/uploading the file needed first, then following the directions she gives for which areas need to be changed, that should fix it.

Funny thing is I read the messageboard and found that post, it was dated back in August... guess I should check there more often lol

I've been looking for those silly progress bars for weeks! I'm so glad that I found this thread...I added one to my site, and it was very easy. I did have to download the .swf file and post it on photobucket for it to work, though.

Thanks again, guys! This information was really helpful!

I have the code and the shockwave file, if you email me at my personal email account, I could email it to you since ezboard won't let you really do code in the ezemail box. I have my shockwave code stored in my photobucket account to link from just as you would a photo.

I can't believe I'm still having issues with this one but I've neveer been able to get the bloody percentage bars to work. I saved the "swf" or whatever to photobucket but nothing shows up. I'm sure I'm not the only one with a Mac so could someone please help me out. Thanks in advance! I also tried the scrolling banner and it didn't work. It must be me I swear. Sorry to be a hassle ladies. :computer Stupid computers!!

If you go to Anna's link now, she has uploaded the swf file to a main server for everyone to use. It's a different code that is below the do-it-yourself one.

I uploaded the swf file to my web page provided by my ISP (comcast).

Bec, could it be that you don't have the flash plugin (or whichever one it is) installed on your system? I don't really know anything about Macs, but if you try putting it up again and post the link, I'd be happy to see if it shows up on my end...

I found problems with Anna Tut. Can't surely remember what it was. I left a comment on there, as well as many others in her tag board. So what I had to do was look through the different blogs that had percentage bars, and view the coding to figure it out. I think Anna bars were too small for me anyways. If you are interested, you can view my coding and any other questions PM me.

I have been wanting to add percentage bars since November but I can't save the image on Anna's page. When I right click there is no save as feature. What do I do! :(

Heather, check out Andrea's HTML bars. I've started using them and I love them! :manyheart

I feel like a hopeless cause with this. :(

MomaChet sent me her code...did not work.

I go to mantlers page, but I can't save the percentage bars, just the background. :P

You can't click and save mine... they're html code. If you do a "view source" you'll be able to see them. Or check out my tutorial post:
