If you don't mind, would you share your pictures here?

I've only made one before, and it was slow going. (All that single crochet is so time consuming.)

I loved it when it was done, and it gets alot of use when the weather is cold.:wbrr:snow It's holding up very well too.

I'm considering another one (if I can find the right color yarn I'm looking for) and I need some inspiration.

Here's mine, by the way:

Thanks!

Here's a few I made this year:

Chenille ripple in brown:

Same pattern in blue:

One I made to match the quilt in the background:

One of the best things about ripples is that there are no squares to sew together!! :)

No pics but have you considered dc? they're the only ones i do now and they seem to keep me warm just fine and hold up well too.

i love ripples and have made too many to count- only one of them was sc. i never got complaints from anyone that recieved one.

This one's warm as iron! I used two strands (one light, one medium) just scrap yarns. The pattern is called a "wave" stitch, from a 1970's Reader's Digest Book of Needlework. It was a simple pattern, worked in doubles. That's Stevie modeling the afghan! In the photo it is displayed on a queen size bed. My Mom LOVED it, so I gave it to her. 19e0.jpg

shelain22 - that's so neat. I love the shape of it!

DesertCrocheter - I love the color of the baby one. The green and white one is neat with the vertical stripes. I love that shade of purple in the last one. What kind of yarn/color is that?

pb&j - that chenille looks cozy. I love the colors in the last one.

evelyn - all one color looks elegant, I think.

redhead - I much prefer to dc - goes faster. I may try that. Thanks!

lene - very nice WIP. Thanks for mentioning that it's dc.

Katie45964 - That's beautiful!

Thanks for all your input! :hook

:cheer I finally worked out how to post my ripple afghan here.

I trimmed both with an Eyelash type yarn.

The rectangular pattern I used was done in SCs but I used DCs and the only difference was the starting CH at the beginning of each row.

Have fun.:hug

Colleen, :sun WOW! I love the round ripple. It is so bright and cheerful! I have made lots of that pattern. Your color combination is a knockout! I printed a pic of it so I can copy it. Thanks for posting.

RebeccaV, Your chenille WIP is awesome. I love the color and it must feel heavenly. Also, I have always wanted to do a ghan in the RH Light and Lofty. It must REALLY be warm. I bet it worked up fast! :bounce How long did that take?
