Monet Afghan

I think it reflects the later Monet very well. I love it...lucky person who gets it for Christmas.

 

Saw the Monet exhibition when it was in Chicago...some of his early stuff was dark...trains and other landscapes.

C'est superb Drew! I love the impressionist period and usually make an effort to go and see any and all impressionist exhibits when I visit a city! I have gone to the Monet Museum - c'est superb aussi!

Lovely afghan, I too love that joining stitch, I use it frequently, only mine looks quite a bit different than yours. LOL Now I'm gonna have to go figure out why that is.

that is really nice drew. you did a wonderful job. wish my husband would learn to crochet. he can cross stitch but he won't learn to crochet says he don't have the nerve it takes.
