Hi Crafty people!

This is a hat that I recently made. It was gifted to my boyfriend's aunt for her 60th birthday. She is quite ill with cancer, and doesn't wear anything other then hospital gowns as she is so weak getting dressed exhausts her. I thought the hat might help her feel a little more dressy when she goes out for chemo or doctor appointments. I used a chunky velour for the hat, made a basic cloche with a little half brim, a novelty yarn for the hatband and a broach from Walmart to finish it off. I took a webcam pic of myself wearing it before I gave it to her, although I do have a pic in the camera waiting to be developed of her wearing it. I hope you like it! Lisa
