Hi. I have been crocheting since I was 6 year old. I am somwhat self taught. I would watch my mom who was right handed. I'm a leftie. I suffered a stroke in November so for me crocheting is a therapy. I'm working on making hats and scarves with my sister for the homeless veterans in our area.

I'm a lefty but self taught right handed crocheter,no left handed literature at that time.

when I broke my right wrist 4 yrs ago,my first question to the surgeon how soon till I can start crocheting again? he thought it was great therapy,when my hand gets crampy,I pick up the hook and after awhile it relaxes.
