My Flower burst lapghan

Did you ever get a brilliant idea but somehow the execution of same just didn't quite make it The pattern itself is wonderful; it is my part that needs work.

 

I rather like this lapghan but the colours went sorta Christmas-y on me when I wasn't paying attention.

 

However, I think it will bring a cheery note to my seasoned citizens.
