  1. Looking for 1 skein of Caron Cakes in macaroon to complete my project. It is no longer listed on the Yarspirations (caron) site. Might anyone have one they will part with?
  2. Learning to knit by youtube. I have tried a couple different methods of adding a new skein of yarn. How is the best way to do this? Thanks for your help.
  3. i am learning to knit although I have been crocheting for many many years. I first struggled with straight needles someone had given to me, but being used to the shortness of a crochet hook decided to try the circular needles. I find them much easier to handle and have been much more successful with the circulars. I suggest buying (or borrowing) an inexpensive circular needle and see how it goes. I think you may find it much more comfortable to use.
  4. I have enjoyed getting these little bags of yarn. Some very interesting yarns, and I love the little bags themselves!
  5. I love Stylecraft Special DK yarn. I use it often and it would be perfect for a baby afghan!
  6. I think your crochet is lovely. I see no need for you to change. How rude of people to comment otherwise!
  7. I usually use tulip Etimo but recently bought a Clover Amour and am in love with it. I can crochet faster and my arthritic hands don't hurt at all! As most have said, it's all about individual comfort and style. I learned on Boye hooks many ears ago and never had a problem with them, but now enjoy the more ergonomic hooks.
