Ah yes patents.  Been around those for, oh, the past 35 years (I'm a registered patent agent), and I can tell you without much hesitation, that this invention, revolutionary as it is, wouldn't pass muster in the patent and trademark office.  I'd have an equal shot at patenting anti gravity.  Not that some clever hi tech person couldn't do it.  I'm a far cry from one of those clever hi tech persons, unfortunately.
