hat made for lady wearing it

hi this is a hat which a lady asked me to make for her and i designed it myself finishing with a round of cross stitch which may or may not show up on here. it fits her so snugly and i never had any measurements to help me. they sure look better when worn by someone don't they?

I'm impressed you made it to fit without any measurements! I usually have to rip out a few rows after they're tried on so I can make it fit better.

everyone for your lovely compliments and yes she does like her hat. i did leave the yarn attached just in case i needed to alter the finished part of hat so glad i never had to as the cross stitch did look good and shows up much better on an open worked item

mary jo and sue what a great satisfaction and joy to see the lady today coming to church wearing my creation. the yellow hat with her yellow coat and she looked wonderful this is the first item someone has asked me to make and worn out so it was really great to see her today. :biggrin
