Trolls in the forest :-)

Hello everyone,

 

here are some pics of a rather elaborate project. A few months ago our 5-year-old daughter didn´t want me to read to her anymore - she wanted me to tell stories instead. This is how we ended up with the troll called Greenhair and his friends Browncurls and Shoefoot (and Greenhair´s pet, the "Schmüh" that my daughter drew for me to crochet).

Naturally, I "had" to crochet the whole gang.

 

For my daughter´s upcoming birthday I decided to write some of the stories down and illustrate them with pics - some of which you see here. It was fun taking the pictures, I entertained quite a few families ;-) I hope you enjoy.

What a wonderful gift.  I'm so glad you wrote down the stories.  My brother's told the most amazing fractured fairytales to me when I was a child.  While I can remember bits and pieces of them I so wish they had written them down!!!
