These are a pattern from Red Heart with the with the Boutique Sashay yarn and it was for knitting, but I crocheted these for my daughter and grand daughter. 2 more to go.

Is Sashay hard to work with? I just bought a ball of it yesterday for the first time. I can't figure out where to put the hook.

No its not hard, and the directions are for knit, but I crocheted it, I use a g hook, and starting a couple sps up and going thru the first row of mess at the opposite side of the gliter, I weaved thru them till I had 6 full sps on hook, or going thru 12, then with the next string at top, *i pulled it thru one, then grabbed the next top string and pulled thru 2,* untill they were all off the hook, then I just kept doing that, while I watched a movie, it was finished by then, ... not hard, but NOTE do not drop that st, cuz it unravels faster than you can imagine, then I just tied it off best I could with the string at the end of the mesh.

Fun! My grandmother knitted one for me that is the same as yours in the 1st picture.... then my mom picked out one the exact same color. Great minds must think alike!
