Crocodile Stitch Hat

I finally made this and I love it! I had a big bag of mill ends that I picked up for a few dollars and this was the perfect project for it, even though it doesn't block very well. The crocodile stitch got a little tedious after a while, but it was worth it in the end.

It's actually really easy, just 5 dc up and down the sides of a v-stitch.

I bought the pattern book a few months ago. I went searching for the yarn to make the hood and couldn't find it. I'm not good at all with switching yarn, but gave it a try and it was a failed attempt.

 

Did you use the baby sport fine yarn that the pattern called for
