i am sure these will become heirlooms. they are fantastic. my girls are still young but i hope to make a few items that could serve them later in life. thank you for sharing the pics. everything is beautiful.

That is a great idea, and since the flower girl and ring bearer's are my own children I get the best of both worlds.

 

 

 

Those are absolutely lovely. If I may.....I remember being a flowergirl and not being able to keep my basket. The natural tendendy is to keep something that you've made especially something as lovely as these but it also hurts the little ones who don't get to keep the thing they used in the wedding. My mother in law made the ring bearer pillow, flowergirl basket and the cover for the family bible and we decided the blessings are greater to let those who use them get to keep them. Just a suggestion and you can all throw the hardened rice at me now. Gentle Hugs, Barb

That's so great! I've found myself wishing I had crochetted things for my wedding back in January, but I really didn't get hardcore into crochet until AFTER the wedding Oh well! Maybe someday for a daughter!
