The yellow wool was given to me along with a bunch of other yarn, and I realized very recently it was not acrylic! I felted a sample, and then got to make this bag. I really like the pattern, though I did adjust the top portion, as I added the second colour. I am pretty pleased with it as my second felting project, and definitely will be using it as a pretty way to store some of my yarn!

It really is a great pattern! It's so easy, and it looks so neat when it's done! I'm wondering about using the pattern to make a purse, rather than a basket style stash bag, then lining it with a funky fabric so the fabric peeks through the holes....I may just have to design something like that!

Thanks - the yellow was just by happenstance, seeing as it was given to me, and I realized just recently that it's wool, not yarn. The blue accent colour though, that was by choice!
