My daddy loves me

I had mentioned to my mom a few days ago I was looking for a yarn holder like the one she had and couldn't remember where she got it. She said "dad made it". So I was talking with my husband about making me one.

Last night my dad posted this on my facebook page. He made me one and is mailing it to me.

So today I have been busy making spools so I can use it when it gets here. I think my arm is going to fall off but I am so very happy!

With my dad when it comes to wood working, it is no big deal just like with us and crocheting an afghan we are like yep I made that but no need to fuss over it LOL

I know exactly what you mean. My dad is handy with most things. I think he likes when I take an interest but he just kinda wonders what the fascination is. Like he made this HUGE wind chime. It is so amazing and kool. But he just thinks well I wanted to make it and I made it so.
