Bulkier version of the Pineapple Shawl

Had done this patter single stranded but decided to beef it up a bit with 2 strands and an L hook - I am tall so it did not matter that it lengthened things. I used Cape Cod blue Caron pound yarn double stranded with a blue boucle that comes by the pound at JoAnn's - Sensations brand - not a striped kind just a continuous blue color scheme in that yarn.

Looking forward to wrapping up in it outside on chilly spring eves!

 

This is the same one that has been done by many here on the 'Ville using the vintage pattern from the chair set - this part in thread would normally go on the back of the chair.

It really is so very soft and snuggly! It reminds me of a soft chenille bedspread feel to it! Thanks everyone! And I love blue too!

Yes - it is longer AND wider by virtue of using an L hook instead of the I or J that Jingles used.

I need it wide too!
