I've been crocheting for a number of year and taught by my grandmother. I've only read instruction recently because I've always crocheted by example.

 

I am married and live in Tennessee and I've looking forward to this board.

hi and :welcome to our village :hug I am crochet :hook since last dec when i learnt by reading online and looking at how they did stitches like at stitchguide.com i even have a blog too. I am sure you will enjoy this place as the people are friendly and you get lots of help. I live in England so find i have to convert a lot of patterns to english stitches. have fun.

Debbie - Where exactly do you live in Alabama? I'm about 3 miles from the Tennessee / Alabama border near Bridgeport and Sand Mtn. I grew up in Stevenson, which is near Scottsboro.
