Single strand. Chewie (shepherd) has been playing and chewing on it all day, its still in one piece! Just some good ol' RHSS.

I have 3 puppies. 2 Jack russells (9 mo and 4 mo old) and one lab/pit mix (5 mo old). Mine love to chew on my crocheted pot holders so I am sure they would love this. Thank you so much for posting.
