Topsy Turvy 6 inch square

Finished size: 6 inches square

 

MATERIALS: Worsted weight yarn in three colors of your choice, US size "I" hook, Tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

 

Abreviations: C1=Color 1, C2=Color 2, C3=Color 3

 

With C1 ch 4, sl st in first ch to form loop

 

Round 1: ch 3, 2 dc in ring, ch 2, (3 dc, ch 2) 3 times, join with sl st in top of beg ch 3, fasten off.

 

Round 2: Join C2 with sc in any ch 2 sp, skip next dc, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next dc, skip next dc, *sc in next ch 2 sp, skip next dc, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next dc, skip next dc, rep from * twice more, join with sl st in top of beg ch 3, fasten off.

 

Round 3: Join C3 with sc in any ch 2 sp, skip next 3 dc, (4 tr, ch 2, 4 tr) in next sc, skip next 3 dc, *sc in next ch 2 sp, skip next 3 dc, (4 tr, ch 2, 4 tr) in next sc, skip next 3 dc, rep from * twice more, join with sl st in beg sc, fasten off.

 

Round 4: Join C1 with sc in any ch 2 sp, sc in next st, skip next 3 sts, (4 tr, ch 2, 4 tr) in next sc, skip next 3 sts, sc in next st, *sc in next ch 2 sp, sc in next st, skip next 3 sts, (4 tr, ch 2, 4 tr) in next sc, skip next 3 sts, sc in next st, rep from * twice more, join with sl st in beg sc, fasten off.

 

Round 5: Join C3 with sl st in any ch 2 sp, ch 3, (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in same ch 2 sp, dc in each of next 11 sts, * (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next ch 2 sp, dc in each of next 11 sts, rep from * twice more, join with sl st in top of beg ch 3, fasten off, weave in ends.

Wow Champygirl, you've been busy!! They all look so great. I think I might have to choose the orange and yellow one as my favorite though, since orange is my favorite color! :yes
