Towel Topper and Dishcloth

I made this for my sister. Yes, I realize now that one is upside down. I don't think she noticed it either. Oh well the only thing I can say in my defense is that I was in a hurry to get it finished.

It's a very nice gift. Don't feel bad about one being upside down. When I was a young girl learning to sew, I hemmed a dress with the hem on the OUTSIDE of it. Now, it's a happy memory.

Thank you for the nice compliments everyone. This was my first towel topper set and I did it without a pattern. I am kind of proud of that even though it was just simple dc's.

Very nice towels. I love the cheery red and I bet she does, too. You're giving me good ideas, candi. We still haven't gifted with our parents yet and I've got some kitchen towels for my sweet MIL. Maybe a crocheted holder like this? Hmmm...

 

And since they are different, she will always be able to keep up with them. If someone in her house (not to mention any names) comes in and wipes a sweaty face on her dishtowel, she will know which to toss into the laundry. (Love my husband, but really!!! )
