Okay call me stupid or maybe old

Recommended Posts

I have seen a number of times on this site the term "frogging" or "frogged" and I do not get it. Does this mean you messed up and have to rip it out? Where did this term come from or am I just behind the times?:think

Don't feel bad, I had NO Idea what this meant for months and months :think. I even had my DH trying to figure it out. We thought it was an acronym for something.

When I finally did find the answer it was like "hit me upside the head with a brick!"

I was just to embarassed to ask!

I had no clue what it meant for a while either, that and what the heck "LYS" stood for! It was very frustrating and for the longest time I was too embarrassed to ask :oops

Is there maybe somewhere on the site where the abbreviations are listed?

I had never heard the term frogging before I came here either. While we're on the subject, anybody know what HTH means? :think
HTH = Hope that helps.

It took me a long time for that one. Then I have another: ttyl.

My daughter defined frogging for me as "the one stitch done in ALL handwork: rip it, rip it."
