What would you make?

I was given 2 skeins (balls) of Phildar Tourbillons. It's 50% cotton, 50% modal.

 

It's about a sock weight yarn (I dont wear socks much..so making socks isn't really a great idea. Although I could make them for dd)

 

Each ball is 50 grams or 1oz..136 yards. It's a lovely shade of medium green.

 

Any ideas? I don't have a LYS very handy (50 or 60 mile drive) so getting more is really inconvenient.

 

For various reasons I can't regift or sell it. So.. looking for ideas.

A simple hat - crocheted in the round. If you didn't want it for yourself, you could send it to Keesha (Schmetterling) for her brain surgery patients. A light cap would probably be greatly appreciated!

How about a light weight Fall/Winter scarf. I LOVE scarves made out of cotton, they are so cozy.

Probably a scarf or a hat...yeah, that seems to be the only thing for that much of green...it'd be really pretty though!

a hat or a scarf or if you like thread projects you could probably do one with it, it would just be a bit larger since sock yarn is close to size 3

Why do you have to do something with it? Stash it! You can say you're thinking about what to make, but it just sounds like good stash material.
