Thank you all for the wonderful welcome. I haven't had a chance to respond until this evening. I just finished an Afghan for my daughter and I think it turned out very nice. When I get home (I'm out of town right now) I will post pictures. I will probably be asking for help in the near future with that fdc stitch that I mentioned before. Thanks again all and I will be posting questions soon I'm sure.

Interweave Crochet link...sorry I don't have the 2007 issue with the fdc stitch, maybe someone else would be willing to let you borrow it or buy it. You might try the Library too.
