Wow, is it ever cute!! Little coasters that look like peppermints! I have to make some of these...these could be cute gifts along with a festive coffee mug.

Printed it off this morning - they are very cute. Can't wait to try making one. Read the directions and you add the red in after you do the white.

Those are way too cute! If you could find something to go through the openings, you could have a holder too.

 

I thought of that as my coworker brought in some Christmas coasters she had that were crocheted (by someone else) and the center was open and there was a dowel and a wood piece on the bottom to hold them. On the bottom of the wood piece was a piece of felt to protect the table. I wrote down what I thought was the pattern to copy. These would work in place of that, maybe.

Has anyone made these??? I am trying, but am having difficulties understanding what to do with the red!! HELP!!

What worked for me when I was doing this is to fold the "white" row out of the way rather than to try to work over around and through it and it worked for me.
