Christmasy things

Thanks to yarn cat and a few other patterns on the web I am making ornaments and package ties and a few stars and snowflakes this is this afternoons progress. I don't consider myself a thready but I am trying to change that I am working my way down these are lustersheen and size 3 thread darling husband is supposed to be bringing me some thread with silver thru it this was plain white and natural with gold thread. >>I love the ornaments /package tags they are so quick and look so nice. My darling MIL had loads of old cards I was using mainly the nativity ones.

They are beautiful ~ I too use the cards, if there is no writing on the back cover I cut the one side off & use the picture part as a gift tag.

Love how your ornaments turned out. you did a great job on the edging. :cheerby the same concept, last yr, i took a family picture of all my husbands 4 siblings & parents and printed them out and then laminated them and did the same thing around the edges.. gave one to each of his siblings. ( his father had died last oct.so they really like having those on their tree. judy

Those are Great! What a clever way to use the cards. I have some that i have saved over the years because they were so pretty,....now I know what I can do with them!!!!!
