crochet projects for the nursery

Recommended Posts

I used crochet to decorate my daughter Ella's nursery. I did the window valance, the artwork, the bumper and made an afghan. The valance is on a prior post. The colors are inspired by the rug and some colorful polka dot fabric. I kinda went out on a limb and had fun with this. More pics of the bedding coming. Let me know what you think.

I mounted them on canvas board that I bought at Michaels or Wal-Mart. I painted the canvas with craft paint first. I used fabric glue to attach the crochet pieces to the canvas.

I love those bugs! The pieces really look like something you'd spend $20-$50 on at some fancy store (or maybe a little less at Ikea). They're so fun. The bumper looks fun too. I think you enjoyed this project or something. :D

The bugs are adorable. I work in a rehabilitation home for abused children. If you don't mind, I would like to try making the bugs to decorate my groups activities room. Again, SO cute! lashayvz
