tea cosy

I'm getting ready for the upcoming tea cosy swap (oh-so-subtle, eh? :P), and I bought 2 kitchen pattern pamphlets that had tea cosy patterns in them. Of course, I wanted to practice them to see which I like better. Here's one I made for my Fiesta tea pot, from a Bernat pansies kitchen decor pamphlet. It called for cotton, so I used Sugar and Creme country blue with white pansies on the top. It's a little large (I was increasing the pattern to accommodate my 6-cup tea pot), but it might shrink a little. I'm pleased with it, though. Now my large tea pot is no longer naked!

I see a lot of tea pots at the Goodwill, here. (If you don't mind used ones..) Once you cover them up with a cozy, they will match your kitchen. :yes

Nice tea cozy Patty! I'll have to look for that book.
