does this color change look right?

hi everyone ~

 

i'm trying to learn to do pic ghans using the afghan stitch. i worked up a sample of a heart that i found on the net. did i do the color change right? opinions please!!! also, any tips!

That looks just wonderful! I love the light/dark combination to make the hearts stand out. It looks like you are working the afghan stitch in strips to be joined later. That really makes the project easy to handle. How many hearts are there? Any other colors? Is it a special project for someone, or are you rewarding yourself? If you are like me, you are always making something for someone, but seldom for yourself!!

Very nice! Your color joins on the return row are much better than mine were on my Tunisian cat purse. The right side joins were fine, the left side joins, well, let's just say a few were a little wonky. Love your furry helpers! patty
