what to make with this yarn?

I have 7 skeins of this Cervinia Londra in Blue Mystery that I have no idea what to do with.

 

Honestly, I'm not crazy about how it looks, but maybe once I get some worked I'll like it better?

 

I've had it for years and never done anything with it.

 

43% wool

42%acrylic

15% alpaca

 

4stitches/inch

 

50g, 80m each

It's not as pretty in real life, much more dull, no sheen at all and the colors seem bla...

 

Any ideas? I'm an advanced beginner.

I don't know how expensive it was, but I am assuming pricey. You can either gift it to someone, or save it until something jumps out at you and screams use me use me. Otherwise you won't be happy. When I see it, I think a nice neutral side bag.

You could always sell or swap it...or gift it to someone who loves those colors.

ohh i love alpaca and alpaca blends, they are great for next to your skin... think of making a nice matching scarf/hat/mittens set it should be wonderfully soft. goodluck it looks like great yarn in my opinion

It would probably make a nice felted purseif you don't want to make a "wearable".

Beautiful yarn and texture....It would be a fab poncho or shawl to show off the beauty of the yarn.

There has to be some savy patterns that will allow you to make one or two items of this goregous-ness.

It screams mermaid and summer and beautiful blue skies filled of sweet smelling grass water or sand. Seashells. Beads.. mmmm beautiful!

Would it felt well? It's not all wool. Sounds like the stuff people make sweaters/vests with. A hat, scarf or casual pocketbook/tote would be great. If you know someone who likes those colors, you can make it for them.
