I Finally Got it!

. Today I had my crochet class and I had trouble finising off a row and starting another one but when i did it in the car on the way home i got it. I am doing it really fast now and my teacher said that my stitches are incrediably even and are really good. i am just so happy.

thanks everyone, i think being a lefty is a huge advantage ( I hold the yarn in my left hand and i move my hook with my right)

Good going, girl! My mom always says having even stitches (and thus good, even tension throughout) is hard for beginners, so you're ahead of the crowd!!

my teacher was amazed how even my stiches were, my other teacher (she does not teach the class but she also crochets and she was also very impressed).

thanks everyone. i use the susan bates hooks and i love those since they are so easy to use. i used to use a boye hook but i hated it after a while but i still have it as a back up hook.

good for you,I'm also a lefty that crochets right handed,when I wanted to learn all the books were geared to right handedness,I wonder since its not our dominate hand that we get better tension and even stiches.

everything seems to geared towards right handed people, my handwriting is a really messy and not great being a lefty but when i crochet i notice that it is easier to control my handwriting
