Hi,

 

Just thought I'd say hi. I've been crocheting for 4 years now. My grade 12 english teacher wanted us to learn something new everyday, and it did have to apply to what we were learning in class. So I learned the basic stitches over a weekend. I'm just now getting into designing my own items.

hi so glad that you joined us here. thats awesome that your learning to do your own designs isn't it a great feeling to have something in your head and then create it. i love doing that!!!!! can't wait to see some of your projects. what a great teacher you had. i also learned from my teacher but i was in 3rd grade which makes me crocheting for a very long time, since i was 7 and i am now almost 49:lol :lol anyways just wanted to welcome you, vicki, p.s what part of canada are you in?
