I love this braided look. I used it on an afghan that I designed. Here is a link for a tutorial on how to do it:

Very pretty!

Krystal, that is just adorable! So sweet!

Well, I have 5 panels/motifs done...only 6 more to go. It is going to be put on hold for a little while because I need to take all my yarn (including what I have done) back to JoAnn's where I ordered it. The yarn that I am using is only for their stores and I am not happy. I love the yarn, BUT there are so many knots tied in it that it is ridiculous. So I am hoping that either today or tomorrow I can get up there. I don't know what they are going to give me for it...but I don't think that I would but this stuff again because of it.

Easy Ripple--Done!!

I had some tension issues- it kept getting wider:( I had to frog back to the last repeat of black,, gurrrrrr but here it is,, it's 51/2'l x 56" wide. DH says it looks like tire tracks,,which is kinda cool as it's probably going to a friend that builds hot rods. Who knew;)

It's all Red Heart--cherry red --someone asked; I can't find the post.

Everyone's work is just beautiful.

I am halfway done with DS's 2 strander. It is on hold again because I am out of royal blue and HL is still sold out of it.

After using DD's 3 strander while she has been laid up with her knee injury (she leaves it on the couch instead of trying to drag it from room to room on crutches), I decided to make a 2 strander for ME :D

I am doing 5 panels (color blocks), and I just finished the third panel (color block). 2 more to go and I will have a warm ghan to use. And I should have it done just about the time she will be off of her crutches.

2 2 strander's going at the same time....what was I thinking :lol

Well, I finally got a chance to get to JoAnns today and got my yarn issue resolved. I am going to start my 6th panel today. I am so excited. I am really liking how this is turning out. Hopefully, once I start piecing everything together I will be able to take a few pictures.

:cheerAfter almost a year I have finished my dad's afghan, Iam sooooo glad it is finished, could have done it alot quicker, but other things got in the way.

Here are a few pics, sorry about the quality of some, the flash didn't go off.

I gave the afghan to my dad about half an hour ago and he loves it!
