  5. Sounds like something I definitely want to do; do you know if there is a time limit in which you need to finish it? Doesn't sound like it, but just wondering.
  6. It is beautiful. I agree, ripple afghans are boring to make. Glad you're keeping it too, good for you!

  8. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! I just stumbled on this board and am so intrigued by freeform but don't have a clue as to how to get started. These are perfect!!!!
  9. Thanks all! Mattenylou, I may have to take you up on that, sounds great!!!
  10. I bought the book - at Joann's on sale. I think they look beautiful. I've made Fisherman afghans for years and think baby sized ones are very cute. I have not worked one up yet, but the photos are nice, they have online tutorials to go with them, too.
  11. I now know what to do with my scraps and small balls of leftover yarn!
  12. I hardly ever win anything (ok, hardly ever enter anything)! Came upon this by luck - checking out the 'new' Crochetville! Going to spend it on WEBS (yarn.com) website. Have a great weekend, everyone!!
  13. I love this afghan and putting it on my to do list.
  14. Just awesome!!! What stitches did you use? I love the ends loose like that.
