nutz4crochet-I'm using it as a short runner for the top of a nightstand, the black table is 1 of those tv carts & I thought it would show the details better for a pic.Maggitee-I learned how to crochet from a video, "Crochet From Start to Finish", I'd recommend starting with size 10 thread or 20, & modern patterns(they tend to be easier) but older patterns really aren't difficult, jug toppers are a good & small doily-type to use as practice. Katchkan-I used size 20 dmc thread, I'd love it if they'd make a true purple! Thanks for all the compliments!
