cap and scarf set

Made this for my step-mom in Newfoundland. She recently went through chemo and lost all of her beautiful hair ( now has about 1 inch growing in) so needs something warm and fuzzy. The cap is made from 2 strands of the fuzzy stuff, plus 1 strand of moss green RH supersaver, while the scarf only has 1 strand of fuzzy stuff and RH. Scarf: sc and ch1, all the way across. Cap: sc all the way through.

That is great. I have a friend who is also going htrough chemo and wants a brown hat (same color as her hair) but I am finding it very difficult to work fun fur in a round. Did you use something other than fun fur???

I find that whenever I attempt any project with any type of fun fur, I have to add a regular WW yarn with it...I can't stand working with fine threads.

I also have to use another strand of regular yarn with fur yarn. I've used baby sports yarn and WW yarn.

Those are gorgeous! I love the colors... she'll be 'stylin' in that set I'm pretty much tired of the fun fur, but yours I really like.
