Market Bag

Okay...I tried finding the post but could not. Someone posted a "market bag" that they had made from the Lily's sugar n cream leaflet they had. I had said that I stitched "bands" around the bag instead of all mesh to keep it from stretching really far. (Without it...I think they almost stretch to my knees!) Anyway...here is my version (finally got a digital camera) with the bands around. Maybe someone else can find the post I am talking about to refer to it. Enjoy!

I've made that bag, and I know there were several posts about it by others. I do like your version better! It seems more sturdy!

Very cute! And what a great idea about putting in the bands to keep them from "growing" too much! I also like the thickness of the handles... sometimes bags have handles that are too think, making it a little uncomfortable to carrry when they're full of stuff from a shopping trip.
