What one stitch do you want to master this year?

Hi friends,

 

Last week, I was making an adorable little sweater and learned how to make picots around the bottom of it. It was one stitch that I had tried before, but it never really looked right. But I kept trying until I suceeded.

 

Now, another stitch I want to try is the crab stitch for around the edges. When the afghan that I am working on is finished, I think that will be my edging on it. I will master another stitch!

 

What stitch or stitches do you want to master this year? There are so many stitches to choose from and also so many sources to learn from, the possibilities are endless.

 

So what stitch is it and why?

Hairpin lace.

Probably not really a stitch as much as a technique, but still..

I definitely want to explore the tunisian stitches this year. I love Kim's patterns and want to give them a go!!

The love knot ..which I never conquered...got me so frustrated cause it looks sooo easy....NOT!!

Mine would definately be the Bullion/Roll stitch. I can do this stitch, but it's either too loose or too tight and just doesn't look right. I'm still trying to figure out how to make cables in crochet. Make me feel like and I give up, only to go back to it again a couple hours later

I used to do hairpin lace...but I can't find where they sell the device anymore.
