Oh, these might be nice for me to help my boyfriend w/. His last girlfriend had breast cancer that went into the bones, and she passed last November (we've been dating since around 1st of Feb.). The oncology dept here was so nice to both of them, especially near the end, that he likes to try and take some things over to them every so often (he baked some bread for them once, some scones, etc). I had thought of making some bookmarks to take them as well. These would work great. Thank you cupcake for sharing it.

He still talks about her quite a bit. I didn't meet him until several months after she passed, but can still see some sadness in him over it.

This a blatant use of my image, my design, and the name Ulysses Butterfly Bookmark. I take this very seriously and will be seeking legal advice.

 

I need to reitterate that I post these things with the intention of sharing and giving. This one has particularly upset me as it is against my intention of the pattern.

 

I know I am a long way away, but this is still morally and ethically wrong.

 

I am in the throws of deciding what to do with my blog as well as this has greatly dissapointed me.

 

As an aside I sell the crocheted butterflies on etsy, naming them according to colour. Mine are also cheaper than the site mentioned! As you see it is the same yarn as in the picture.

I tried to buy one from the site and it said "sorry sold out"

I wont be removing my blog, but I will be reviewing how I post pictures. this all adds time. I have started only sending out some of my free patterns to my crochetville and etsy friends.

 

I love crochet too much to stop. I was just pretty angry last night as are a few other people. Mine were not the only things stolen for sale on that site. This person is serial infringer!
