O.k...the second in my fairy series!! I am looking for 6 or so testers!

 

Lovable Libby’s big sister. She went from ugly duckling to a beautiful fairy.. And the boys have noticed!

Being a teenager, she only dresses in the latest fashions!

General supplies:

Size F and G Crochet Hook

Small amounts of ww yarn, baby yarn, floss.

Tapestry needle for sewing

Fiberfill

Small buttons for eyes

4 White pipe cleaner for arms, legs, and wings

Small sewing snap. (metal or plastic) for dress

Any embellishments you would like for wings

Small flowers for hair (optional)

Ribbon to run through dress

Yarns used:

Off white for doll

Hot Pink sports weight for dress, shoes, and panties

White baby sport yarn for wings.

General terms

Sc-dec= single crochet decrease (decrease over 2 stitches)

Sc= single crochet

Hdc= half double crochet

Dc= double crochet

FO= finish off

Ch= chain

Slp stch=slip stitch

BLO = In Back Loops Only

YO = Yarn Over

sniff, boo hoo....I knew I should have just checked the new posts during the thunderstorm....sniff, cry....she is adorable!!! I wanted to test her!! But I am glad you got such a great response..hope it works out great for you!!

Kristie - Below is my version of your Becca Faerie. I named her Rouge, for obvious reasons. The pattern works just fine. Thanks for letting me test drive the pattern.

I used #10 cotton for her body and very thin fingering for her clothes and such. She is only 3 1/2 inches tall.

how did you do the hair on her????:think i can't figure it out, but then again i just got into crocheting about three years ago so I don't have all the techniques down yet:lol

 

Have you done latch hook?

You will basically insert a hook around a stitch, folding the yarn strand in half, pull up a loop of the yarn. This will be the middle of the strand yo uare attaching. The 2 free ends will go through the loop and pull them tight.
